Darci's first love has been Fantasy since her first grade teacher gifted her a copy of The Wishing Tree. Her debut series The Unbroken Tales tackles deep topics to make them accessible for teens and young readers, and show those who feel like outsiders that they are seen and worthy of love.

She enjoys critiquing for her writing friends, and has been on Brandon Sanderson's beta team since 2015. Darci lives in Arizona with her husband and four children.
